MX5 NA/NB Boot Lift Kit

Improve the convenience of your NA/NB MX-5 with a boot lift kit. This kit replaces one of the boot torsion springs with a gas strut to effortlessly pop the boot open when unlocked. This modification is completely reversible and only requires one hole to be drilled into the existing boot hinge to fit.

Note: For heavy wings or luggage racks, the regular single strut version may not have enough force to actuate however the strut may have enough force to hold the boot open if the stock springs do not. Alternatively, a heavy duty version is available utalising gas struts on both boot hinges which should work for most wings.
