ARP rod bolts reinforce the cylinder assembly and ensure reliability and performance in high-stress engines.

The OEM bolts are the weak points of the cylinder assembly and are not designed to be subjected to continuous high RPM. If you’re planning on running your Mazda MX-5 engine past 8000 RPM in any kind of race or track application we highly recommend fitting these bolts.
