MX5 NA/NB ARP Head Studs (New) (Aftermarket)

ARP High Boost Head Studs are an uprated head fastening solution for Mazda MX-5 NA and NB engines, suited to high-end B6 and BP performance builds. Originally designed for Chrysler 2.2L 4-cylinder engines, this M11 12-point undercut head stud kit is also compatible with the MX-5 B6 and BP platforms. As a result, it’s become something of a community secret over the years.

Constructed from ARP’s proprietary ARP2000 material, the studs use a larger .409 shank diameter than MX-5-specific head stud kits to improve head stability at high boost pressures. They allow for torque values above the OEM specification, with 75 ft/lbs recommended and 60–80 ft/lbs used successfully in prior builds.

The kit fits OEM BP and B6 blocks with no modifications required. It is recommended for forced induction builds running over 20 psi boost, has been tested to 32 psi, and has been used on MX-5 builds producing in excess of 450 bhp.
