The Mazda MX5 ND is a successful model improving over all other generations in nearly all aspects at the price of smallest interior room. Which is a price too high for many.
For my personal needs I (197cm height and nearly 100cm torso) managed to achieve the unbelievable 56mm (2.2 inches) seat drop, while offering not only possible but also relatively easy to do at home installation. This drop allows me to drive the car at the price at fixed seat installation, which means it wont slide. However, three positions are predefined with 25mm offset between them, which vary for drivers with long legs/shorter torso or the opposite.

- 56mm (2.2") seat drop
- 3 positions for drivers with long legs or long torso
- Fixed mounts, the seat wont slide once fixed.
- No seat modifications - fully reversible setup
- No cutting, trimming of the seats is involved
- Lowest possible position of the OEM seat without seat modifications
- The rear position goes further back than the OEM slider position
- LHD/RHD versions available
- Ergonomic seating position considered
This version is straight fit for the optional Recaro model seat for the Mazda MX5 ND. We sell in separate listing the version for all other seats.
All installation hardware is provided, as well as installation manual.
Sold as full kit per side (seat). You need two for both seats. Please note - Left is the driver side in continental Europe, USA etc (LHD) and Right is the driver side in UK, AU, Japan etc.
