They are made in New Zealand of solid cast aluminium, polished, then powder coated in crinkle black.
The factory handle is just glued on and can be removed by twisting it off. Use a side to side motion (it won’t move much) and pull towards the dash. The new handle just twists on (if it feels a bit loose, you can wrap some electrical tape around the handbrake before twisting on the new handle).
