Jass Performance Stainless Steel Radiator Panel for Mazda MX-5 Miata (NA)

Upgrade your Miata's engine bay aesthetics *and* cooling efficiency with our mirror-polished Stainless Steel Radiator Panel. This isn't just a shiny piece of metal; it's designed to direct airflow through the radiator, keeping engine temperatures down where they belong. The Jass Performance panel features a rear bend for tight air insulation, increased stiffness, and a truly finished look. It's form and function working in harmony!

Features:

  • Mirror Polished Stainless Steel: Provides a stunning, show-quality finish that enhances the look of your engine bay.
  • Improved Cooling Efficiency: Designed to direct air through the radiator for optimal cooling performance.
  • Enhanced Air Insulation: Features a rear bend for tight air insulation, maximizing cooling efficiency.
  • Increased Stiffness: The bent design also adds structural rigidity to the panel.
  • Direct Bolt-On Installation: Installs easily using existing mounting points with provided hardware.
  • No OEM Catch Cutout: This version offers improved air guidance and a cleaner look, requiring aftermarket hood catches for hood retention.

Benefits:

  • Lower Engine Temperatures: Improved airflow through the radiator helps keep engine temperatures down, preventing overheating.
  • Enhanced Engine Bay Aesthetics: The mirror-polished stainless steel adds a touch of class and style to your engine bay.
  • Easy Installation: Straightforward bolt-on installation makes upgrading your engine bay a breeze.

Fitment:

  • Mazda MX-5 Miata (NA)

Important Notes:

  • Some very early 1.6 models (pre-1991, primarily European) may not have pre-drilled holes for panel mounting. Drilling two 8mm holes may be required for installation in these cases.
  • Early US 1.6 models may have a front collision sensor and harness that interferes with flush installation. This sensor is typically located at the same bolt below on later models (US, EU, UK, etc.).
